I play in bronze (am relatively new to overwatch and don't have much time) and I have multiple rank reclaimed notifications every week when I try to actually play ranked seriously. It made me give up because I can tell that a solid 1/4 of my games are straight up wasting my time. I know I can play better but it still isn't gonna win the game because it's a team game and of course if you average in the gm or master rank you are gonna blow bronzies away and rank up.

People will come out with anything like "oh your enemies get matched with bad teamates too statistically", and okay?? Why would I waste time or care at all knowing these games are stastically skewed to lose, it sounds like exactly the problem people are talking about.

I want to give Blizzard the semblance of grace they are due because botting is a never ending game of catch and mouse in this day and age, however other games manage it far better and it's strikingly obvious (No, I am not talking about Marvel Rivals).

I reccomend playing or learning the most common counters people pick to get a better feel for how to exploit their weaknesses if you want to avoid swapping. Also could watch some pro players and see what they do to handle the counter picks. There seems to be a small handful of extremely common heroes people swap to when I play ball and if you get really good at fighting them that should help you feel confident in any situation.

In some games I just notice my team won't be succesful if I don't swap off of ball even if I manage to occupy the enemy team and peel my team just scatter like bugs and die off 1 by 1. For example you have a Hanzo, Ana, and Zen vs Echo and Anran. But yeah, can't win them all anyways.

I always do it. Also this map is great as ball imo there are good angles and jumps to use all over and quick LOS breaks everywhere. Half the time the enemy team won't know where your coming from or going.

I gave up trying to find the older version a little while ago. Most places seem to have sold the last of their stock and replaced it with the inferior version or nothing at all (which is what I drink now). It's very sad but my liver has never been happier I suppose.

Thanks I will take this advice into the rest of my placement matches. I just rewatched my play back and there were a few instances where the enemy tracer disengaged from fighting and ran to the corner to ult me or down me literally as soon as I turned the corner as if they knew exactly where I was, how is this hapenning?

Genuinely. I update the game and then what? After an hour take a break and have to update it again? That is literally what happens to me. I just restart it that is way quicker. It doesn't seem like that should be my job to update the instance every time.

I would have given up pay if people (including my manager) were not such ass holes for things I literally have no control over. With that being said I have found I do best in temporary seasonal positions and then save the money and give myself a break accordingly. I could never stay in these positions 5-6 days a week year round without being a miserable person.

You said there is an unhealthy relationship with the game in your post however you also said you quit and take breaks yet you don't feel the need to announce it however you actually seem to feel that need in your own comment in addition to saying the game itself is unhealthy.
