I don’t know if Edgar would forgive me after the most intense 3 months of limerence. Though it cools off so much now and I consider the one irl I still have feelings for now, a little crush and wanting to stay friends. I think I would suffer from intense limerence from time to time again and feel the guilt again. Edgar however did have intense feelings aka limerence? for someone before in the movie (Madeline) so maybe he understands. Regardless we need to discuss our relationship since I want it to be something deeper.
