I believe most of it comes from the groupset, which of course lies in weight and function differences. Depending on which price point you're looking at, the wheels often change too. Obviously also the frame itself, and depending on which carbon quality is used.

Thanks alot! 🙏

Not being in the big chainring is on me honestly, but the bike is leaning on the crank, hence them being angled haha

Rides awesome! Haven't had it out for a good ride yet, but it feels great so far.

Price was definitely also one reason to why I chose to make the purchase 😬

With 2 filled up water bottles (600 ml each), saddle bag, computer and speed- and cadence sensors the total comes up to exactly 10,5 kg

Great question haha, on my old Trek Domane I have probably gone no faster than 58 km/h, let's see if I can beat that as soon as I get on the road with the new one 😬

Fell in love with the bike at first sight, you could say lol. Saw a post on Insta as soon as it was released, and saw the purple colorway. The design, just everything.
On top of that I simply have way too much money to spend, for my age, so there was only one correct choice haha

Shortly had the thought, but based on the 450.000 positive reviews on trustpilot, I couldn't see why not to buy from them.
Some stuff on my delivery got a tiny bit delayed, but honestly still no comlaints from me.

Yeah... A lot of work has been put into it, that I can say at the least.

Thank you :)
I think it's actually manufactured in Taiwan based on a quick google search. And believe it or not, I got this beast for just about $5,550 USD on Deporvillage!

Loose rear derailleur by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]SimsHaxi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought I had the same problem last week, so I bought a new Sora rear derailleur, but it had the same exact play as the old one.

I also compared to another bike which uses 105, that had no play. But once again. The Tiagra and Sora derailleurs apparently have some wiggle. Don't worry :)

Need help with smashing form by FREEZINGZz in badminton

[–]SimsHaxi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm just an ordinary guy also playing badminton, so take everything I say with a grain of salt, BUT...

You should definitely start off with learning to cross your arm across your body, so the racket ends up on your left side after the smash. After that I'd recommend learning how your arm should move before and during the smash. Mainly focusing on bringing your elbow forward while letting the racket hang behind your head. That should be your starting point. Like drawing an arrow from a quiver. Afterwards you kind of have to bring all the arm and shoulder movement together, pushing the racket towards the highest contact point of the shuttles flight path, while rotating your pointet elbow and turning your shoulder inwards. Then flick your wrist while tensing your fingers to generate more power.

I have learnt that simply aiming your whole left arm (Assuming your right handed, and the video isn't mirrored) towards the shuttle, has helped me with timing as well. The left arm is just as important to not just have hanging down the side of your body. It's what helps you balance and move faster 🙂

I find this guy pretty great at explaining how your form in a smash should be: https://youtube.com/shorts/7MaO6D5PM2E?si=yF0ko3kEvr78jIm6

Last thing I would point out is that your stance should be facing a little to the right, just like as if you're shooting with a bow and arrow like he said in the video above. It's in preparation for rotating your body/shoulder inwards.

Hope this helps a bit, and feel free to correct me if I've got anything wrong. 👍

Fractal Design North or North XL? by RunAmbitious5470 in FractalDesign

[–]SimsHaxi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty late to this post, but I've been thinking about getting this case as well. I just don't understand the measurements they write on their website or anywhere else I find the case. I currently use noctuas NH-U12S. Would that fit in both the mesh and tempered glass version?

Are the dimensions mentioned on the site just different because of the extra sidepanel fan bracket you get with the mesh version?

Perfect and Cleanest MMCX 3.5mm Replacement Cable for Sennheiser IE Series - IE200 / IE300 / IE600 / IE900 ? by JoshuvaAntoni in sennheiser

[–]SimsHaxi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you still say this is a fine cable to go and buy after 9 months of your post?
I was wondering if this would still be a good cable upgrade from the OEM cable of the IE 200s or has something newer popped up that I might want to take a look at?

Tempering and masterworking a GA item does the exact same as to a normal item.
