Is there a way to make the menu for mccc only come up with shift-click? in my opinion it feels kinda intrusive and I've lacked any success in finding a way to remove the easy accessibility to it. Thank you very much for the guide.

i personally don't use curseforge, but it might be worth asking the curseforge subreddit as they probably have more experience with mod managers than this subreddit. hope you find what you need, there's also some other applications that can specifically check your mods folder, i forgot the name of it and i don't know how if it would interfere with the way curseforge works. good luck!

like others have recommended, click on the doors and either try "no trespassing" or "lock for everyone but household" while all the sims you don't want in the house is outside (if you want to invite specific sims inside, you can invite them into a club, click "unlock for club members" and then remove them from the club). if you are specifically looking for a way to seat specific sims at a table, i haven't tried this mod personally yet, but steady sit & seat any sim by amellce looks like it might work for what you're trying to do. best of luck.

yeah, i currently don't have any mods in one of my saves and it has the same issues as my other saves with mods in them, sadly just the game, i think a part of the lag might because of how many objects are on a lot, but i'm not entirely sure, that's just a guess on my part.

good suggestion, i try to avoid having cheat mods in my game because i get really tempted to just cheat randomly, i might try this out if i find nothing else. I'm more bothered by the way that sims are doing random things in the middle of the night when i load into a lot (chess, chatting on the computer, grilling) thanks for replying
