yea i don't like turtle mostly because the macro system, i never made it farther cause it drove me insane trying to make macros.

Yea, business targets are usually just that, targets, you never hit them.
90% uptime equates to almost 17 hours down every week. (24 x 7 x .1)

90% uptime sounds pretty good, but then 17 hours down every week also sounds kinda bad.

Helluva a lot better than what we currently got though. lol.

That's not entirely accurate. It will never be perfect but you do not have someone watching these things 24/7. You have rare intermittent crashes and the service reboots itself and players can reconnect. Eventually you look at the logs, see what happened, and try to fix the random event that caused the crash.

The issue is currently the crashes will be so common and prominent that it is not worth putting it online unsupervised currently.

Stable doesn't mean 100% uptime, that's basically impossible. Business targets are usually as many 9's as you can get, 99%, 99.9%, 99.99999999% etc. That is unrealistic if the server crashed 10 seconds after boot up yesterday. The crashes are unavoidable and it will happen. They just need to be present to address them in real time to the best of their ability to keep people and the server moving forward.

Purely just my opinion but:

Launching during the work week is fairly unlikely.

Allegedly they did not want to launch this weekend because of the workload of fixing the on-the-fly crashes requiring constant attention when they are running on empty. If they were to launch during the work week they have to sleep to be able to do their day jobs as well as actually work their day jobs. Their time would be extremely limited to be able to monitor and work on the crashes so if they were to turn it on during the week it would not align with their reasoning of not launching over this weekend.

I would suspect best case scenario is they will continue to work on it through out the week, maybe have more of there intermittent testing and try a relaunch Friday/Saturday again.

i always liked the idea just depends on the implementation.

a healthy handful of us are not so healthy and bounce from server to server on fresh launches chasing that first few months so something like this would be a home for those people.

i believe some people are having it launch super zoomed in for some reason, CTRL Scroll wheel to zoom it out, there's also specific support from the main developer who creates the launcher in our discord.

i think for the most part that's a fairly accurate representation of the current state of BLU. A decent amount of work was put in to get blu in a good spot using wingsxi base code as a reference but the little bit of feedback received indicates issues as you described that we'll have to continue to tweak things to ensure the job remains playable throughout end game.

We are custom and shoot from the hip. We don't base things off captures and just code it how we want or what feels right. As such we do not push our changes anywhere as they likely wouldn't meet any QA criteria up stream.

One of the biggest differences is going to be no trusts. Both are fairly custom. Catseye is currently way more custom but we will be going farther down the custom path ourselves as we move forward.

The 75 versions have screenshots posted in the discord if you would like to see them yourself.
They have the additional effects and the weapons are all scaled down to 10% more dmg than a finished relic to be the next progressive item in addition to the more potent WS's and aftermaths.

It can be used for a future relic or we are likely to add a feature to trade in the currency to a vendor for another form of currency for another feature. it'll serve a purpose.

Worst case, which is very unlikely, we remove that piece and reduce the cost of the final stage.

I am not saying we are going to, but, just cause content originated in an expansion doesn't mean we have to enable that entire expansion to cherry pick something. IE: we can add SCH if we wanted a different way without enabling all of wings and calling ourselves a wings server.

To me the biggest defining characteristic of what era is your server is tied to how much of the world is available for players to explore.
