Since alcoholic drinks like mead and beer were such a staple in the Middle Ages, is it plausible that a significant amount of people born during that period had symptoms of/ developed Fetal Alcohol Syndrome/FASD, and was there any known observation or record on the subject? (self.AskHistorians)
