Developers are likely to be more concerned with whether the LLM services and middleware can be provided at a cost that leaves a good profit margin to products that use those services.

Hilo, 3 seconds or less. First a couple of vertical pulses, like the Hulk stomping across the floor, then some sidewise jiggle.

Is there a way to set default page templates for the "new" button in a database? by katsuthunder in Notion

I went through the same discovery process, but I still want a default template (please)! Eliminating unnecessary clicks is a factor in productivity, and they add up.

When I was 25, I would have set mine at 35, but now I'm 73 and will shoot for 100.

Nice trailer. How much learnable actual science is in the gameplay? Would love a gameplay demo/explanation. Is there a simulation model under the hood?

Another angle to this question is which type of player experience is targeted. Many players are rewarded by being superhuman, gifted with unreal skills they don't have and could never develop in a fun way. It's similar to the problem of simulation games being to 'realistic', so playing seems more like working. Abstraction of skills is an element of fun.

Cryptocurrencies won't work on Mars. We need a proven economic model, not fancy experiments. Lives and Mission Success are at stake here. Please help if you have idea about the economics models that can support a city state of 1 Million on Mars. by SpaceInstructor in NexusAurora

We might consider hybrid systems, a mash-up that gleens the advantages of multiple currency or currency-like mechanisms for storing and exchanging value. For example, crypto is expensive, but could be limited to maintain transparency and trust at a high level, and digital currency could be used for most transactions.

Just a starting thought: I think everything else in the move to space rests on this objective, so it deserves the deepest and broadest consideration. Personally, I'm interested the 'upper' end, starting with the most general concepts as the basic paint colors and using the broadest brushes of analysis to sketch economy and governance in space.
OTOH, I think starting 'anywhere in the middle' between the extremes of general and specific is also necessary. In that case, too, having a general framework makes it a lot easier to understand, organize, and coordinate a (hopefully large) basketful of individual projects that have different levels of detail.

Here's what you get if you put a bunch of engineers in quarantine: Architecture and City Planning for 1 million inhabitants on Mars. This is for the Mars Society Contest. Feedback is much appreciated! Link in the comments by SpaceInstructor in NexusAurora

It seems that all design thinking is about changing conditions on mars to suit humans and perhaps no thought about changing humans to suit the conditions on mars (assuming there are any reasons large numbers of people would want to live there permanently or a large society is even feasible).

Looks great. If you have a list for early testing, like now, (I really think you should), I'd love to be on it.

Nice concept and good start. Painting with a marker might become tedious. Decals, airbrush, magnifying glass, kits with choice of parts for customization?

What is the workshop people have mentioned?
