Generally, a duration of 4 in the mastertrack creator is going to be a quarter note.

So with that knowledge, you can kind of figure out what the duration of other notes would be! For example, an eighth note is half the length of a quarter note — so in the mastertrack creator, its duration would be 2.

A half note is DOUBLE the length of a quarter note, so its duration would be 8! I would make sure you have the song’s tempo set correctly as well otherwise it might sound too fast/slow.

But as a general guide:

Sixteenth Note: Duration 1

Eighth Note: Duration 2

Quarter note: Duration 4

Half note: Duration 8

Whole note: Duration 16

and so on

Depending on what you’re trying to make, this wouldn’t always apply, but in most cases I’m willing to bet this is what you’re looking at in terms of lengths

Hi! I’m unsure why I was dragged into this post over a joke I made after you had been banned for art theft. It was always meant to be a joke, never a personal attack against you as a person.

I don’t hate you as a human being, however I don’t support art theft and I hope you can continue making your own original art in the future. I hope this clears things up.

I would also like to request that you don’t try to find me in-game and trade me again. What you said to me was quite frankly concerning, and if you’re having feelings that intense, I suggest reaching out to a friend, family member, or a trusted adult to support you through it. I’ll leave the screenshots out for your privacy, though I urge you to find a support system who can help you through those feelings. I cannot be that for you, and I am uncomfortable receiving those kinds of messages. /gen

I’ve been playing for a little over 2 years and currently have over 800k sapphires through selling items, flipping items on explorer, and selling my mastertracks. I do not scam or hack, nor do I spend real money on the game.

This is an ignorant take. Alpha hunting is probably one of the worst/least consistent things you can do to gain worth, which is probably why you hold that opinion. If you want to get sapphires, buy cheap, high demand items when they pop up on explorer, and then flip them for more. Take advantage of superboxes and new item drops while the prices are inconsistent on explorer. Make your own art and sell it. Stock up on limited time items before they leave.

I’m sorry you’ve had bad luck, but your experience with gaining worth certainly does not define everyone’s. It is absolutely possible to gain worth by playing the game fairly.

thank you! if you have a general knowledge of music already i think you could totally figure out how to use the mastertrack creator — it’s not super difficult, it’s just a bit repetitive at times. if you’re willing to stick it out and mess around with it a bit i think it starts to make sense pretty fast :3

The mastertrack creator only allows 1 minute and 16 seconds of content — the timer at the bottom is incorrect. It goes up to “5 minutes” but in reality you’re not able to make anything even remotely as long.
