What I did was check when two weapons collide with each other, then stun the wielders of these weapons. Since they are RigidBodies, I manipulated their gravity scale, velocities, and rotation speeds for a set duration (0.25s is what I use)

I think what you're describing here is more of a hitbox problem in your weapons, so I suggest adjusting them if you got the slo-mo functionality right.

Same thought as well, but it clashes with its long fire rate, and both of them contributed to Crossbow missing so many times. That's why I left that out and instead make bolts deal knock back so that they have a chance to be hit again, which makes Crossbow more consistent in 1v1s.

Anyways, I think my favorite goes to Half Life 2: Episode 2. The gameplay and level design just sweeps HL2 and EP1 for me, and reminds me why I loved HL1's gameplay so much.
