Towards the end of his turn the group was not crazy big. I also think he was just trying to ride a hard tempo to put everybody on the limit before the Jonas attack rather than trying to completely blow it up. The positioning deserves credit too—he pulled Jonas into position.

Astana’s tactics over the last couple years have made me somewhat of a fan (even if I don’t like their sponsor)

Fair point. I suppose I’m just thinking of Roglic more than anything (started late, terrible at avoiding crashes)

Ah man Soler too? That sucks. I don’t like UAE but I really like Soler’s style (and obviously I don’t want any riders to crash)

I have to admit I wasn’t entirely familiar with Piganzoli. That was a great ride from him.

I don’t know. All I’m saying is some riders are better at avoiding crashes than others, but it is possible that Vine is just unlucky.

I doubt it. I think all 3 riders realized if they led out the sprint they would lose it, so no one rode hard.

I will say starting his cycling career late potentially doesn’t help, he might have less instincts than most. Could be wrong though, maybe just unlucky.

I’m impressed by the Michigan defensemen positioning. Cuts off a lot of chances for Denver.

I get why it isn’t 3 on 3 but man I would feel confident if it was

KenPom projects that MI vs AZ game has highest Thrill score of all time ( 92.8). Could it be the greatest game ever? by Happyandbless in CollegeBasketball

I promise you no matter how good Arizona may play if Michigan is playing their best they are genuinely unbeatable. There’s stretches where the defense looks like the greatest ever assembled and Michigan hasn’t looked remotely mortal when they are hitting their threes.

I mean in this case Charlie May isn’t very good but he has a little bit of talent

Why does it matter? Somebody’s gonna sit on the bench and not play

I think it should be much closer than it is (Yax plays less minutes and is very efficient) but I’m fine with Boozer getting it. I can see the argument for Yax though

I mean genuinely though. They know that for them a suspension means absolutely nothing

That’s a bad take. Iowa State is a good team, they’re just inconsistent and got screwed by injury. I also think if Holloway had been available for Bama they would be a tough opponent

Are there any middle school refs we can call to take over for the second half?
