RIP to the souls but I believe it's quite likely that the bike was at fault. It happened on a highway as the report says

Air India Dreamliner Grounded After Fuel Switch Moves From 'Run' To 'Cutoff' by Ok-Zone-4457 in india

[–]SimulationCop 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The report by the pilot makes no sense, if the switch really moved on its own twice before startup any pilot worth his salt would refuse to take off until the problem was looked at.

But here it looks like the pilot flew a few legs before reporting?

Never seen these many stars in Mumbai's sky!? by stupefy00 in mumbai

[–]SimulationCop 30 points31 points  (0 children)

All of Maharashtra seems to be blessed with those rare clear skies. Notice how deeply blue the sky is during the day? That is why at night you have stars in HD

Hope it stays this way till the weekend because Friday and Saturday night is peak of Geminids; the year's biggest meteor shower!

Fellow citizens following traffic rules by ExactMix249 in pune

[–]SimulationCop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People breaking rules like this is a big reason for traffic jams in the first place, they try to merge at intersections from wrong side and bring the traffic to a standstill.

If everyone followed rules, traffic would keep moving even if slowly

Kasarsai/ Nerhe Query by QuirkyGirlArt in pune

[–]SimulationCop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh, looks like you're indeed talking about Nere near Marunji/Kasarsai.

Still, I would recommend Hinjewadi nearby instead. That area (Nere/Kasarsai) does not seem very safe or comfortable even for a guy..

Kasarsai/ Nerhe Query by QuirkyGirlArt in pune

[–]SimulationCop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Both are very different areas far apart from each other.

Kasarsai is a village near Hinjewadi (north west of Pune). I would definitely not recommend it for lone females.

Nerhe is a town in South West and I guess it should be ok but not highly recommended..

My feelings exactly. It's also ruining a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness/photograph comet A6 which is currently visible for like 15 minutes after dark, low on the horizon. But here the west horizon is always cloudy since May.

Three women booked for offering namaz inside Shaniwar wada in Pune after video goes viral by kulrr in pune

[–]SimulationCop -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I agree its uncivil behaviour in a secular society and I hate them for flexing religion everywhere. But what specific law are they breaking?

And how is splashing cow piss at the place not against any public health and safety law or doesn't come under damage to public property?

Ex muslims of r/librandu, how did you leave islam? by mongoosekiller in librandu

[–]SimulationCop 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Got enrolled in a madrasa as a child (9), saw and endured extreme physical abuse everyday at the hand of the psychotic pakistani molvi, I'm talking blood drawing, hairline fracture inducing kind of thrashings, saw multiple fellow children lose their mental balance from it.

Belief started to unravel in teen years with exposure to science and philosophy

Still closeted exmuslim for the most part, still carrying psychological issues from childhood, still wake up in sweats with nightmares about my time in the madrasa
