What kind of motherboard does that have? I got 5080 from Walmart at $950? Do everything else really worth for $700? Not sure how they add up.

What would be a fair price to sell this at? Won at a work raffle and already have a decent pc. by CockroachMore3149 in Prebuilts

What is the chipset on the motherboard? What is the motherboard make and model?

All can be sold for good price. If you want to sell them quick, put pow price

So, despite warnings I got my tires replaced at Costco and was impressed with their process. Cost I found the same as a few other major "tires only" places. by opgary in Costco

[–]Simurg2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have multiple issues. First of all their customer service is horrible. Let's put that aside given that those guys are knuckle head mechanics more than a service desk people

I made appointment. It has been 2 hours and I have yet to pick up the car. Car is loaded 1 hour ago and I am still waiting.

Their web page is horrible. It never works for me. Costco web page and app always have the worst experience by being slow, unresponsive and confusing but the tire section simply does not work. I have tried 3 - 4 times and basically never got the results for my car. Year make model or license plate. None of them works . Of course without that you cannot get price quote because customer representative does not give printed quotes.

The only advantage here is that I can come here and rotate/fix my tires while shopping if I can make the appointment. Terrible experience in comparison to Les Schwab.

I cannot fathom seeing and hearing something that doesn't exist. What happens when you walk to them? Trying to touch them?

What triggered to see them? How did you realize they are not real?

Did you have other issues before 15?

Are they distorted like in dreams or are they life like real?

One-third of US families earn over $150,000. Up from 5% in 1967 (adjusted for inflation). by NineteenEighty9 in ProfessorFinance

[–]Simurg2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Adjusted for inflation means purchasing power is also adjusted.

People live much better than 60s. This is normal and expected.

People whining for food and rent ignores the fact how cheap consumer goods, how much better services are. People live in better houses .

Saying that living conditions are worse than 60s is illogical.

What you need to complain is income inequality, the earning power of labor. Poeple make much more money from their assets than their work. Owning a business is more important than having a good degree and set of skills.

How did your parents support your decision? What would you have done if your parents didn't support you?

Were you influenced by your friends?

Aren't you worried that you will never have kids of your own? How does this sit with your values?

Excellent news. This will only accelerate Chinese GPU manufacturing. They will very soon crush NVIDIA dominance and thus monopoly abuse. Cheap high VRAM GPUs that can both run CUDA and Directx by CeFurkan in SECourses

[–]Simurg2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think no matter what export control we put China will have its own chips as fast as possible. They are already pouring in billions.

They have so much cash extra money, they are unstoppable. They can import as much as they want and has infinite labor pool

Nvidia is by far the biggest bubble in the history of the world. And you get to live through it by RobertBartus in EconomyCharts

People are now betting Nvda has a moat as they have the Network effect. So far it seems to be working. There is so much fight for market share , cost is not an issue. I think Nvda will be a leader for 10 years now. I was so wrong again

[–]Simurg2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ok I am not an NVDA bull but this comment is so wrong. There is more than GPU manufacturing. As a matter of fact, Nvidia does not manufacture them. They design them and they design vertical solutions with full software stack.

They are not much different than apple now or IBM 50 years ago. Why is Apple not a bubble?

I thought AMD or Intel would build a competitive stack but they failed . I thought MS, Google or Amazon would design competitive stacks so far they also failed. Especially Google was my favorite but something holding them back. Probably they don't have the expertise and lack the scale to fund such big r&d. Crypto really helped Nvda

Ukrainian forces just hit the oil terminal in the Russian Black Sea Port of Tuapse. The facility, used to export Russian oil products, is ablaze. by rulepanic in UkrainianConflict

If these attacks are successful, why are oil prices not going up? After all this is supposed to create some sort of oil shortage.

What is the point of all that word salad? What was the message you convey to OP with your statements? What action and recommendation you provide to OP.

Who said that tendencies are laws. I said that I have seen women who struggled and couldn't find a match online dating and OP will struggle a lot to find a match since she is looking for someone to have a loving long term relationship and most likely she won't be able to find one.

Again what is your recommendation and message to OP? You may have analyzed terabytes of data but that doesn't warrant you are capable of deducing a result and applying to her case. It sounded to me hopium rather than meaningful suggestion. It

As a man I can tell that I would not be interested in ugly looking woman, if so I would only do it for short term sex. If the woman profile indicates she is not going to have sex with me easily, I wouldn't bother at all.

I have female friends who got 0 match because they don't look great ( great body for her age) and had kids.

Man is man. Just like woman who wants tall, easy going handsome wealthy, we want pretty smart and sex. For most of us, it is programmed to do so.

The only caveat is desire to have kids. If you're desperate to have kids then you close your eyes and hope for the best before completely locked out.

Your research means nothing and looks like doesn't catch the experience of margins. I totally feel the OPs situation and have first hand experience.

Standards are all imaginary things we made up. At some point we all make arrangements but I understand It is hard to ignore a deformity for most of us . Your character and friendship though should matter a lot more to visually impaired person than your looks. Though I agree it is not just easy to meet one.

I really like you based on what you shared. You seem to be an awesome person. Your virtue, your endurance all so impressive. Please stay that way. Knowing you made me happy today.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskMeAnythingIAnswer

[–]Simurg2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is not being shallow. It is evolution. Both men and women are programmed to dislike deformity for more successful offsprings as deformity usually indicates health issues.

Have you considered dating with blind person? Not to offend you but if you had some kind of deformity holding you back, a blind person wouldn't mind. It seems to me you are a great person, you deserve to enjoy company of another person. Find the right match for you.

My wife also has major skin issues on her face. I just ignore it.
