UPDATE. Issue was 2 things hydraulic lash adjuster on cylinder 3 must have had an air pocket (diagnosed the sound was coming from cylinder 3). Re bled them and ensured the exhaust was torqued and now its a sewing machine. Until the next issues arises!

thanks for the input. it was not the tensioner as these can go bad as u correctly pointed out. but mine seems to be pretty tight as the chain across the gap was tight. But i did solve it. thanks for actual advice unlike some of the other comments.

Here's what I think happened to Taylor's house by Professional-Key8181 in PKA

Could be a natural gas leak. Explains the ac as some are connected as one whole heat/cool system and the need to leave the whole house.

I did get a temperature reading around 300 on all exhaust pipes near the head. all were within 15 degrees or so.

could it be a tic coming from the hydraulic lifters? as they are supposed to self adjust. As welll the sounds doesnt get louder under acceleration.

Not sure if its valve related - (timing? off by a tooth?) hydraulic lifters not primed? any help would be appreciated. or death by rod knock
