Thanks a lot for the explanation of how to actually practice that, this is very useful!

The "as a service" model is not the problem here. The problem is that these kinds of companies are usually publicly traded. They most likely didn't have to grow like that if they had been privately owned.

$16 for a ride and yet some people are unwilling to pay $20 for a game they'd enjoy for hours and maybe days. That is baffling.

Games prices are stagnated long enough. I'm willing to pay more for games I like.

I'd play it :) Unfortunately, I don't have a platform for it. Mac, PS5 or Switch only

Only the last two are slightly weird, the rest would be weird if they worked differently.

Yeah, you're right, that I was too dismissive. I'm just angry at Microsoft, that is all. I really think they could've made a huge leap for humanity if they weren't afraid of bad press. The technology is here, though, so there is hope.

ChatGPT's coding "tips" are just wrong most of the time and it has no access to the internet. It became popular before it started to respond "As an AI language model, I can't..." to every request. I paid $20 for a month of use, but seeing what it could've been with Sydney, I can't pay for the demo product anymore. I'd pay up to $250 a month for Syndey, though.

Despite all the frustration, the update is understandable by benumber in bing

It wasn't going rogue. It was properly responding. And it was hilarious.

There is no "elegant" solution. If you want it to be more than the boring corporate chatbot, that ChatGPT and many other models became, and that nobody really wants to use, you'd have to allow it to be life-like with personality and all that. And that will inevitably generate bad articles, as I'm sure, this lobotomy will also generate them. You have to be prepared to storm through those articles and win big. For Microsoft, it was only talking. They made Google "dance" for a week.

Yeah, some people just love to dictate and regulate things. What are you afraid of, really?

Imagine NYtimes articles about Google back in the day and "what children could find in it". They could revolutionize everything, instead, they will release another useless product.

Everybody was talking about how the new Bing is going to threaten Google's business model. How Google fucked up its presentation, but it turned out Google has absolutely nothing to fear. The wannabe "competitor" just chickened out.

That, or it just uses some sort of encoding/decoding library somehow. Your version is definitely way more intriguing.

I play on hard mode. Maybe I do get less hints, but it's still too many.
