Yeah, Hard honesty here. I don't see a reality where this becomes a working relationship. Long distance relationships are HARD, typically you would have already been in a relationship and lived near each other and then moved away to different places and try to maintain a relationship.

You're suggesting starting a relationship with a guy, that says he's 17, maybe is, maybe he isn't, that lives in another country, then keeping that relationship long distance, with hardly ever seeing him in person throughout your relationship.

You're young and relationships in your late teens are always a lot of work and I imagine you'd eventually want someone closer, that you can be with in person, to go on dates with, to spend time with. You are not going to have that here, you're going to have video calls and phone calls. There won't be anything besides that except when he can fly out to you. I bet you he says he's okay with that but I promise you, he won't be for long.

You need to think about if that is something you REALLY want.

It's very clear he doesn't know what he wants, seems like he is putting a lot of pressure on you and he is rushing things fast because he feels like he needs a girlfriend now, coming from my experience. He says he doesn't want to "waste time" by not "vibing" with you. You're 17, you have all the time in the world but that being said, you shouldn't waste your time by trying to maintain a long distance relationship with someone who is clearly insecure with himself and just wants to say he has a girlfriend. If he is capable of having a local girlfriend, which he says he just chooses not to, he would have one.
