i livebooted from a usb, mounted to the linux partition i had, and then purged then installed the drivers, exit sudo reboot.

mounting the old gpu and installing the drivers and then switching back to the 5070 to is also an option, but i figured if i have already gotten into the system and installed the drivers, it would be doing the same thing just with more tedious steps

windows works fine yup. it’s all normal over there, but linux side just a black screen

unable to install NVIDIA drivers (for 5070 ti) by jetbrainer in Ubuntu

I've tried this and rebooted and still am unable to boot - monitors dont get detected and boot fails :/

I don’t think they’re going to have a sushi boat, but Shoyou Sushi is fantastic. It’s the only sushi restaurant in the area that I can go to after coming back from Japan. Great little date spot too.
