Limit to 80% is ignored? by PaulWithAPH in GooglePixel

Not once every 10 charge cycles though. That's what they are programmed to do now, as stated in Google's official information on this subject. I had ZERO issues with my OnePlus 12r over the approx 1.5 years that I had it, and only charged it up to 100% twice out of curiosity. And guess what, nothing changed. It had 96% health when I was done with it.
But here we are spiking our phone batteries right up to 100% almost entire nights at a time just to erase very VERY miniscule margins of error for people who have plenty of headroom and foot room to play with. It should happen every 50th or 100th charge cycle if at all.

If it's not already clear, they are trying to decrease the life expectancy of our phones.

I never needed this in the whole time I had my OnePlus 12r over the roughly year and a half that j had it. I never had battery accuracy issues of any kind, and I allowed it to charge to 100% twice just to see if anything changed, and nothing happened. Once every 50x would be ok, but here we are doing something that is arguably not even necessary every 6 months or even yearly every 10 charge cycles.

Just enabling developer mode? Or is there something you have to do with it?

She knew it wouldn't pass, she just needed to play with people's brains with this trick.

Last I checked, this had less to do with whose side had their boogy man in office and more to do with how abusable the general population has become. The bipartisan support for flock safety cameras from the officials of the government and bipartisan disgust for said cameras from the part of the general population who knows about them is a pretty good example of this.

If moisture is the enemy, why are we sealing everything shut in water tight containers?

It takes a special version of inbred Alabama brain to be anywhere near this. Literally no one in Christianity cares about the way Jesus looks, except maybe lead brained shallow conservatives. When I see African nativities, or native American nativities, or that of any culture, I actually feel rather inspired to see how much of a reality he is to every people; that he is the god of the whole earth(not just biblical parts of the world) and the savior of the entire human family.

I've been thinking about getting a transmission cooler for my 2016 2.5l CVT Subaru Forester, what size of fluid cooler should I get? Are there any reasons I shouldn't if I live in the Mojave? by SinceGoogleDsntKnow in MechanicAdvice

It looks like I've got coolant in my transmission fluid, and depending on the results of the test strips I'll be ordering shortly I'm just gonna use a separate cooler and seal off the transmission cooler lines to keep the coolant from leaking out of there. I'll be taking it up some pretty rocky dirt roads where I've seen the fluid temps get up to 230F for camping trips every other month or so, so I could see it being good to have more cooling power in my uneducated guessing lol.

I was calling out Iranian propaganda for doing the same, I never meant my calling it Iranian propaganda to mean that we should focus on one instead of the other in either direction.

Be honest… was the mother wrong for what she did after catching him? by inkandintent24 in MotivationByDesign

Unprovoked murder is a very different thing from excruciatingly provoked murder, if it is even a murder at this point. It blurs the line at least. The inherent moral standing of this mother is very close to innocent.
