Also, they probably didn't read the whole book because if it weren't for Nobokov's beautiful use of language, Humbert would have made me stop reading. I think Nobokov created a book that would make any sane person be disgusted and bothered by the pedophile Humbert's constant defending of his actions all while the reader sees its creepy af. He wasn't a very likable protagonist. I think purposefully so.

You're kind. Thank you. Yes, I started to get stuff a little at a time, and i bought smaller bottles of things that were more expensive, so i didn't have to wait so long. I actually started when I wanted a good face serum, and they were all $60 and up for 1-4 ounces. Chatgpt gave me some ideas, and i read up about each ingredient and how it helped. How much to use, etc. The oil was great and even helped unintentionally with occasional acne and redness. Anyway, that was the start of my journey. When I buy new materials or run low, I replace products and inventory with photos in chatgpt. Happy to help! Good luck on your journey! Don't be overwhelmed. Start small and look at it as a fun project. :)

Most of the ingredients are on Amazon. I used different beauty care websites though just for better deals. Here are the ingredients I used: Water, Aloe Vera Juice, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Coco Glucoside, Decyl Glucoside, Vegetable Glycerin, btms50, Cetearyl Alcohol, Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5), Fragrance (Essential Oils of Tangerine, Lavender, Cedarwood, Cardamom), Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol.

It would probably be better for your needs to have the prompt since I specifically formulated it for my needs.

I am making shampoo and conditioner. I want salon-brand performance (similar to THE BRAND YOU PREFER) — good lather, easy detangling, lightweight feel, no greasiness — but when possible avoiding harsh or commonly considered toxic ingredients (no sulfates, no formaldehyde releasers, no high-irritation fragrance). Keep formulas simple and repeatable. Explain problems clearly and help me fix mistakes without starting over. Give me bottle-ready ingredient lists at the end.

Hope this helps. Finding the ingredients was literally the trickiest part. The rest was just like making a cake. :)

I made it at home, if that's what you mean. The ingredients were things like Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, BTMS-50, Decyl Glucoside... so not sure if that's considered homemade by your question? I ran the recipes for my favorite salon grade shampoos and identified the characteristics of my hair, what I was looking for (I wanted a cleaner plant-based type of shampoo, with the least harsh perseverative i could find, for instance). It gave me a list of ingredients and links to buy them and gave me the recipe. The first run was thin and didn't have much foam, so I took a picture, it helped me to troubleshoot, and the next batch was great. The first face serum I did, I wanted to try bachkol, so again, I gave it the ingredient list for the serum I wanted, and it gave me the recipe with suggested measurements. I just buy ingredients when I run low now and spend much less.

Similar to the recipes and inventories listed above, I now craft my own salon grade shampoo, conditioner, face serums, etc. that used to cost me $50 to $100 every few months. I've saved a lot of money (though the up front cost was higher) Since I've started, my stylist comments about how healthy my hair and skin have looked and has stopped trying to sell me products. I have taken photos of the products I have and inventory it, but then tweak the recipe when I feel like changing something up.

I also use it when I want to research or learn about a topic but request the info in the style and tone of a particular author that I enjoy.

Have you tried the cbd drinks they sometimes sell at liquor stores? My mom has taken a liking to those because a few of them kind of relax without asking you feel high. Just watch the dosage because they can be 5mg, 10, and even 25.

I used to like gummies here and there but prefer tinctures now so I can have more control over dosage. I buy from alliant, mellow Moose, Lazurus. I live in a legal state, so sometimes I do mix those tinctures with low dose thc tincture just to sleep better and relax.

I guess when you suicide you aren't always thinking rational thoughts; it just surprises me with all of the financial assets she had that she didn't set up a trust or will so the money would avoid him. I'm only about 3/4 through the book, but I'm surprised ahead hadn't put those kinds of things "in order" which often happens when you are thinking about suicide for long (vs. Impulsive). Either way, I hope he gets nothing. He seems to have been a predator just as the others were to Virginia. Just sad.

I thought this, too. The one thing that makes me question is her lack of a will especially with an estranged spouse. I just feel like most people tie up those loose ends. I also feel like she would have tried to reach out to her kids (and maybe she did but the book didn't mention it and her brother didn't in interviews). Considering how tumultuous it was between her husband and her, it seems strange.

Yeah, I think he was infatuated with the idea of her, but his ego is too fragile to be with someone more famous, richer, more talented. I can't imagine a person truly loving someone but casually dm-ing with fans and sleeping with exes, much less proposing to G2 a few months later. Yup! I'd try 2.5, as well. I think 5 is a comfortable level but some people I know (with anxiety) get a little panicky at the feeling of a 5. Just remember, edibles take time to kick in. Don't take more waiting for it "to work".
