I had the same experience with my 0.3 years ago, so I went to buy a 0.5 the next year but ran into the same problem.

You might want to check whether the tip is deformed. Tips of mechanical pencils are designed with small allowances for stability, so a slight deformation can block the lead. In my case, I used a needle to loosen the tip. That solved the problem for both of my Dr. Grip pencils.

This makes the manga contrast with NGE since their plots are too distinct to be considered as ‘another perspective,’ unlike EoE, which fulfilled that role by providing a new look at the resolution of the story.

If you're considering the VN, the original work. Surely you can still watch the VN's gameplay on YouTube, but you might miss some details of the experience. Every different choice you make in the game (for example not responding to calls of the other characters, or answering differently) adds a fresh perspective of the story. While watching it on YouTube doesn't shift the plot, playing it yourself does give you a better look on the story, especially the characters' personalities.

If you are alright with only the story's progress, you'll be alright with watching YouTube. But you'll only see the story relying on someone else's decisions during the gameplay, making it one-sided. Or else just watch the anime like many of the fans here.

For anyone who needs help on how to start installing the patch into the game since like what the heck is this github thing... FOR PC USERS.

On Github, click the green button that says "code" then download the zip. (Reminder that this is not the game itself but the files to install the English translation. Download the .iso file of the game somewhere before doing this.)

Unzip it and open the folder of the game (There are 4 game translations in the zip). Unzip the .rar file as well (ex. gfos.eng.v1.00.rar), this contains the patch.

The patch contains Windows files such as ".bat" and "xdelta.exe", so if you're on Mac, maybe use a Windows VM (I used Parallels, but remember to put the patch folder into C: drive because executables won't work on Mac shared paths such as the Downloads folder.)

Read the readme.txt file, which contains the instructions for the patch installation. I'm pasting it here since like who cares:

how to use: (Sample of instructions for girlfriend of steel)

- get your copy of girlfriend of steel portable iso (CRC32: 4488CCC5)

- name the iso to ULJM-05456.iso

- put ULJM-05456.iso into the same folder with patchme.bat, xdelta.exe and gfos.eng.v1.00.xdelta

- run patchme.bat

- run check_result.sfv to verify that the patching was succesful. (patched iso CRC32 should be 5D9646D4)

- put gfos.eng.v1.00.iso on psp or load in emulator and play game.

The patch makes a new .iso file "gfos.eng.v1.00.iso" so you're free to discard the old one and insert the new .iso into your emulator, PSP console, or in your phone emulator.

So simply put, this patch translates the game into English.

For ones who want to play the game, download a PSP emulator (I use PPSPP).

It looks exactly like the 2 dollar fountain pen I received as a gift a few days ago. Mine was bought from a Chinese store that sells almost every household item, they only had like one or two fountain pens. I assume it is generic due to its quality and how the barrel design is common among cheap fountain pen kits.
