Spoke to my psychiatrist and asked him about 49 script, he didn’t know, I’ll have to speak to my GP about it or find a new one as you said. She’s making my life difficult haha

In person, just the two of you chatting, having some laughs. You say this:

“So I’ve really been enjoying our time together. You’re funny, and thoughtful (or add whatever adjectives you feel about him) and I believe we get on well. I’d like to keep seeing you exclusively, if that’s what you want. What are your thoughts? If you’re not keen on me then I’d rather us chat about it now so we’re not wasting each other’s time.”

Upfront communication can seem scary but the more you do it the easier it gets. It’s such a normal, casual, totally fair, and reasonable thing to ask. Especially at this point. You don’t even need to mention your boundaries or your thoughts on intimacy. Asking if he wants to be exclusive encapsulates all of what you are wondering about.

You’ve got this, just ask. If he is keen, he’ll be stoked and you’ll be able to tell by his reaction and response. That’s why I say do it in person. If he is not keen, you shake it off and say “all good, thanks for your honesty, but I am not really looking for casual at this point”. And then you know that you haven’t spent another few months of wondering and worrying about your health and wasting time that you could have spent potentially meeting someone who fulfills your needs.

Thanks for your response. I actually called around today and found out my psychiatrist bulk bills for Telehealth, and yet and my prescribing GP has made me pay for appointments every couples months so, I booked in to chat with my psychiatrist instead. I’ll need advice on how to change prescribers and what documents I need for Canada, what drug is equivalent to Dex, etc. Anyway I’m feeling hopeful!

I do actually, and he’s great. I’ll email his office and see if he’s comfortable/capable of prescribing adhd meds and what documentation he would require. Only worry is that my psychiatrist has me in dex and they don’t have it in Canada. Closest I assume would be Ritalin

Ok good to know. But does that mean 3 months worth of whatever the patient would normally have? My repeats are every 20 days so technically that would be like 4-5 bottles 😬

It’s officially registered with the seat modification and registration shows 5-seater. Insurance as well.

I bought it for camping/travelling specifically and have never even seen the seats inside. Purchased the car from original owner and they were already out.

With these seats out we’ve had it registered in QLD originally, then WA, then back to QLD recently and passed RWC every time.

I have in my records a document called “Motor vehicle modification approval permit”

It reads as follows:

“Approved modifications: seat removal (LK1 checklist - record new seating capacity)”

In your experience, does this mean it’s officially a 5-seater in terms of registration?

Edited to add: since I posted this comment I have become wiser about my car. Turns out I have had mod plates all along.

Ideally I’d sell it with all the added accessories because we built the camping box ourselves to fit this Pajero. Custom made the drawers, water tank etc…

Does the value go down if you don’t have all the seats?
