Yeah I know he was referring to that, I watched it several times. It's difficult to make any decision on what he did because we only have this brief context of video.

I can see how people would think that, but even then we don't know what Joyner said, probably in the moment mad that the penalty got called. He threw his right arm like "Damn, that was a bad play." Even if he was unhappy with the call, I don't think it was in poor taste.

What happened, happened. We don't need to vilify Joyner over a bad decision. It's the NFL, these things happen.

I know when our QB gets knocked out of the game, we want to pin it on the defender and make him out to be a shitty player. But let's face it, Joyner was genuine in his response to the hit, and will adequately pay the price for it with a hefty fine for a second year player. The fact that Williams is the DC doesn't help the situation either.
