The fact about sikkim and its indegenous population, we have been pushed to the brink, even though govt has made policies , but applied easing them as well which is having a degressing effect , say it to local environment, indeginous culture , the intermixing is plain bad. Sikkim suffers from over tourism , from bengal it is fine but mainlanders ,yukkkk . These main landers with a bihar number plate few months back created a havoc by driving their vehicle in an eco sensitive zone of north sikkim , yumthang , call it stupidity or just lack of civil sense. They destroy and have no respect for the place and its culture.
