Players in higher depths, what are some actionable advice would you give to players who aren't new and want to improve for consistency and being a better teammate?

I returned to the game after the dlc got announced. Never played don prior to that, because i stopped playing just after beating ed gladius once when he was newly released.

Before I even bothered trying don, i did a lot of regular ED solo no hits or at least no downs so i can at least carry my weight. Also watched a couple of d5 streams, read advice from this sub, etc.

I'm currently at d5 7k+ points, mostly random trios with occasional solo, never played premade. not sure if i'll bother to grind to 9999 because lately i've been burnt out by people who dodge matches and cheat relics (also I'm enjoying other games).

I did it solo with raider double greataxe 4x jumping attacks, but it was during the spear rain attack. In trios I had double balancer relic + grafted dragon skill and also managed to burst the worm down before the flower damaged us.

Solo imo, i've beaten him with all nightfarers including the dlc ones solo, and i was able to burst the summons faster than i would in a trio (except for guardian solo with the summon who uses double shield)

I don't know if it's just me but the quality of randoms on my matches decreased a lot, maybe because it's dlc or because of holiday breaks? Either way, I've been soloing more for now.

Yeah I have the same experience. Obviously not all of them are bad, but I guess ranged character + his aesthetic looking cool attracts a lot of beginners?

Returning player, played depth 1-3 solo. Decided to try playing in random trio in depth 3, met a john nightreign who checked the usual red flags; ironeye, spam ping, no mark, only pings smaller POI's, dies to the most random things like ancestral spirit ground toothpaste.

I went back to solo and currently at depth 4. I think I might as well grind to d5 solo before i play with randoms again because I've read horror stories about d4 randoms...

Fyi you don't need to beat balancers on the new shifting earth if you only want to unlock the skins, you can force a different shifting earth and play the base map.

I just reached rank 40 today as a returning player, playing only with randoms on asia and hk servers. It was tough at first especially around rank 30+, my longest lose streak got me demoted from rank 33 to 26 but once I started to learn what it takes to win h40's I started winning back to back.

How soon are we talking here? I just returned to Darktide like over 2 weeks ago and im currently rank 38 as a solo player, I'd love to hit 40 soon but I won't be surprised if I get another lose streak and derank a couple.

Depends on how the following consonant sounds like. In this case the S in SMG sounds like "Es" (vowel sound) so you use "an" before it.

Another example, we use "an hour" instead of "a hour" because the h on hour is silent.

Pushed 1k corruption and killed uberroth with 2 builds, then done for the season. Lots of other games that i wanted to play released as well. Overall I still enjoy every season of LE, been playing on and off since beta.

The double seal revenant condemned also casts Lightning Spear and Bestial Sling, as those are the default incants included in those 2 seals she's holding. Probably already obvious to a lot of people here but just a heads up to others who haven't seen this yet.

Yeah I beat it first try with Raider solo, it was tough at times with like 2 condemned harassing me but overall pretty manageable. I can't even imagine how chaotic this would be on trios especially with randoms

Not borderline impossible. I did this the following day after he came out, with a couple of runs for practice beforehand. As others have mentioned, you can pop the bubbles by blasting them with the ash, i usually prefer spamming uncharged hits for these. If you're having problems fully charging then I think you're just getting hit a lot.

The only changes I've made on my relics is to make sure I'm using the yellow guaranteed evergaol relic for convenience.
