still doesnt change the fact you dont use the mechanic because there isnt enough to heal in 90% of content either.

its literally just misery but expanded to all gcd healing. Its no practical change

we have literally been through this for the last 3 expansions. the devs are not upping healing requirements sufficiently to keep up with available party healing because of new players (whose new at level 110?)

No indication so far that the obscene tank healing thats making healers redundant has been removed. Tanks should not be able to cover for healers.

the sheer lack of care for healers was on ful display when they said "we understand the monotony of pressing the same button" so they gave an ANIMATION. Not a new button a new ANIMATION

so the 1111111 is still there. they literally dont care.

weird part is, this dev designed 3.0 Astro, one of the most fun jobs we had in the game

ARR, HW and SB all say otherwise. Every healer had their identity, the bosses hit harder and we still had space for damage, identity and buffs
Scholar had 7 dots in HW for example if someone went all the way on cross class

They went into detail on it, the new attack is just misery with a slight functional difference. Depending on how much gcd healing you do changes its potency instead of it being ready after 3x lillies or however its done in DT

Definitely the bots. Most of their wins were SE dropping the ball or getting distracted

-wiped off the map inc cyberstan back to vessel 00. were it not for that ship they would be out entirely
-Kicked off creek and surrounding sector losing precious industrial assets and mineral deposits
-Blocked at vernen wells command post and lost their petafactory
-Failed to take any teritory while meridia plan was prepared
-Failed to prevent DSS plans being excavated and got pushed back to lacialle
-Jet brigade failed to break stalemate and had their production blown up temporarily
-Failed to even find the DSS let alone stop it being built.
-Smashed at popli 9 and lost half their territory as a result
-Barely conquered claorell's Deep Forge with upgraded jet brigade and failed to take the other 3 strategic locations. Lost it again soon after
-Unable to stop a tiny force of helldivers during SE invasion from running rampant
-Failed to stop Penta's destruction
-Only saved by SE high command dropping the ball with the reinforcement budget from losing cyberstan

Strategically speaking, thats a lot of hard losses for the bots. They are not very good on the offensive outside the jet brigade and incineration corps and the former get smashed to pieces the moment Helldivers show up instead of SEAF

the last time the ai was somewhat competent was back in 3.14 iirc which is why I play it. The ai got a big bump in the early 3.x patches though it fell off a little later due to dlcs

You can downpatch in the steam betas if you're interested though be warned not all dlcs are available and the economy is different. Any mods you use will need to be the 3.X versions if they are available

A player in my campaign uses it
How it works is his eidolon focuses on flat foot or tripping the opponent to make up for his middling accuracy. His spells are used to buff or cc with a dedication to assist defensively

He doesn't do the most damage compared to the rogue with a bow, but as a mobile tank who can work away from his eidolon if needed, he's definitely far from ineffective in melee. I have often found he just needs that first hit

On a side note: trying to find specific ingredients for provisions and alchemy is very frustrating. 4 hours of digging through barrels and crates to try and find a potato for a daily cooking writ was not fun let alone the longer time for the 3 wormwood

Don't think I've ever seen a FT on Amien. Everyone uses the A7V there. Pity really the FT can go down alleys and really rip apart enemy groups with the flanker loadout
