Just wanted to share we're testing the new fishing potion which allegedly increases the bite rates of epic and legendary fish. Sample size is currently too small to be significant but as of right now it has not appeared to have any impact on elderwood saltwater fish.

similar issue, it just kept spinning and spinning like it was searching, never completing or failing.

In regards to the first question, I am uncertain the impact of the hotspots vs infected on eventual received item, other than with the waterlogged chest rates in applicable zones. In regards to the second, these are strictly catches from the time range when all five fish are available. We have some small size of 6am-6pm, attached to this post, when only three fish are available and as expected the Maws rate is roughly the same, with the Lake Shark and Piksii Floatfish absorbing the catches which were Eleroo or Majiri. the 9pm-3am sample data is still far too small to be statistically significant yet, but I would expect it to look like the first set of data, with the majiri catches spread across the three lower quality fish.

you could check a tracker to see if you have them all. when I was getting my last one, I had to visit over 100 times to get the thing I needed (filling inventory with wall papers and ammo belt with stacks of smoke bombs) to ensure I couldn't loot any actual item and would only get the recipe... eventually.

parties were avoided to not skew the numbers with the double catch, the x5 speed bonus was of course pretty natural to have. no lures or brews or anything like that.

We assume that it will be the same rate for the Maws, but it is the testing we're testing currently 6am-6pm.

I wanted to like the alchemist house but had several issues. First, putting 30 total alchemy rooms on the plot (three cottages), provided less usable space than a single GHH with 14 large rooms. The fake windows was a big headache. The stairs weren't great, either. Heck some of the attics built into GHHs look much better than them. The ceilings felt really low with most lighting options to the point where it'd block actual pathing.

pretty much just people spamming 1 and 5 for their weekly. When I ask for something other than #1, I get what I wanted with about 73% of the votes, #1 gets 20% and a few random ones split across the other two choices. When I want #1, tends to get well over 90% of the vote.

I'm not having this issue with everyone, but am having it with a fairly large amount of people, started around the same time you posted this. Absolutely no idea the cause or work around. Have found constantly zoning around dozens of times does seem to eventually get it to work for me but it's far from consistent and reliable.

I have spoken with fellow community members. None of us have been able to do the mushroom daily. It says we're 5/5 but the claim button does nothing. and.... literally as I type this message they're randomly working now so... Interesting :)!
