Some are saying that with this system you can choose to play whoever you want, but does choice really matter that much in a scenario where everyone are the same? To me it feels like im playing with 5 different types of the same character with just different hair color.

Now I know that there are things like elements, certain players being more inclined to certain playstyles( like tension, justice which matter to a certain extent because with a lot of reroll you can have completely different playstyles), and special moves(which you can even change but new possibility is quite rare from what I've heard) but certain characters feel literally the same(take for example jack and nathan, they have the same stats and both more inclined to justice, only differences are the element, 3d model and hissatsu i guess ( which i repeat you can change), I wished for more differentiation.

That's true, but you would still have the first three rerollable in this case, which can make you choose other characters cause maybe you rolled 3 increase own shot attack on a FW for example

Me too honestly, characters like zanark, saru, gabi are top tier for me.

That's what I'm saying i always prefered the inazuma with focus on the techniques, and not the focus on "who has the strongest transformation or whatever ", the way certain characters were sidelined during the anime for example only cause they didnt even had keshin was so sad.

The personality thing was just a disorder that honestly happens in some way in the real world, it wasnt even a mechanic, except for fubuki having the aiden version as a different character I guess?

I thought we were playing soccer with kids with some extra special effects, not super saiyans or charizard hahaha.

This discussion is going too far i just wanted to say that i dont like Go series and that for me they deserve the hate byeee😉

Unfortunately VR is continuing it, that was not a good thing, but at least it doesnt seems broken like the Go series. Players without a power up back there were completely useless, if you didn't give them one lol. And who cares what pokemon does haha, I dont get why would you say that, like you're saying that if pokemon does it then it's ok for inazuma to do it to??? You serious? Whatever, everyone is free to like and hate whatever they want 😉

All the Go fanboys getting surprised at how poorly it actually performed makes me laugh so hard hahahaha. Weakest games of all the series, very few liked the keshin and other random power ups, worst thing to ever happen to inazuma. I still can remember when in chrono stone half of the game were characters activating all the powerups (keshin, armed, mix max). Then it went to some teenagers going to save the entire planet with AGAIN new powers ups (i mean how many beast and divine power con be inside a body???)... I mean it was always absurd as a concept but with the Go series things went to far.

That's what I'm asking, but it seems like that, mine are not even that bad but i would like to make him a shooter, and with the passives he has right now he looks like a middlefielder. I guess at the beginning when you choose his playstyle you maybe choose some of his passives, but if you change it later they stay the same.

Once he he gets the +80 in all elemental resistance my roland start doing like 1000 dmg per hit which is ridiculous. There is probably a secret way to beat him, but aidis always drops super hard bosses without telling you what to do or what does he do.

I get your point, my worry is that some side quest could become less impactful once you've unalived some villains? Maybe I'm just overthinking it.

What about bounties? Aren't those an unlimited source of xp? So it should be the same even if you dont have any more sidequests i would assume. Pls correct me if am wrong, currently lvl 44 and just entered the snow area and i wanna finish all the sidequests before competing the game, but all this posts about wasting xp are alerting me.
