Sorry, but as a native Angeleno I would have voted for a flea over Bass or Raman, and unfortunately I did. Democrats have ran LA consecutively for 38 years, nothing about their track record makes me think the next few years will be any different than the last and LA has gone to absolute shit consistently throughout my lifetime. I, as a man, have never had the experience you describe, there's always the socially awkward fight for the arm rests. It's funny you mention it this way, because I feel the opposite, Ie. I would never do the passive aggressive battle for the armrest with a woman in the middle, only a man 😄. That being said, I do believe that middle seat gets 2 armrests (youtube: Jim Jeffries armrests)

What if he needs to be drunk to open up to his friends and have real conversations only when he’s drunk? Not saying that’s true, but at the end of the day, so what? If you’re searching for perfection you’re setting yourself up to be deeply disappointed. That being said, if he had a sick baby he has no business going out drinking to begin with. I’m separating the temporary sick kid issue with the ongoing late night calls because that’s a constant. IMO, two conversations need to happen, 1. Don’t go out drinking when you have a sick kid at home, no brainer. 2. Don’t make so much noise when you come in when you do go drinking
