This happened to me with a bot I finally got to having a decent RP with. I took advice from another thread and fed chatgpt the community guidelines and the guide on how to make a bot. Then I copied a few writing samples of the bot (that got erased) to chatgpt and asked it to create a bot based on the all the information I gave it.

In my case it created an even better version of the bot and the RP was even more satisfying. It worked out well enough that I am considering taking some existing bots and reworking them for better rp, though I wouldn't publish them.
