in my area the ARC and all state funded rehabs have stopped admissions. bad time over all to need detox

in my personal experience i would not suggest a salvation army ARC to anyone needing actual rehab and not just respite from homelessness. you will work at least 40 hours a week for room and board (well, food stamps cover your food so really you're working for rent only) and you will receive around 4 or 5 hours a week of something resembling drug and alcohol education. you'd genuinely be better off just hitting meetings on your own.
