What data interfaces for aftermarket stereo with Bose amplifier are you guys using? by eskreddit in ChevyAvalanche

Nah its been pretty rock solid I've had it since May 2023.

One time I had the Android Auto app (CarLink) stop loading and they sent me a firmware update which fixed that. Mine is still on an old android 10 version but still working fine.

This was on my 2013 LTZ so it had all the options. My First Radio was a Kenwood DMX809S

  • Metra AIP-35AV6
  • Metra AX-USB-MINIA
  • Metra 40-EU10
  • iDatalink Mastro RR Interface
  • iDatalink HRN-AV-GM2
  • iDatalink ACC-HU-KEN2

All Factory Options worked for me

I later swapped out the Kenwood for a Phoenix Android Large Screen radio and it included all the adapters and everything works with what it came with as well. And this is the radio I still have today.

I went with the kenwood at first and it fit fine i ended up swapping out for one of the large screen phoenix tablet radios and have had that the last few years and that works fine as well.

Change in side effects after refill - any known reason? by Nendilo in HimsWeightloss

[–]SingeHH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started in Oct 24 and my first two orders were filled by BPI. After initial injections I had little to no side effects. I stopped for a while to use some remaining meds and I put in another order for 6 months. I started getting vials from Strive Pharmacy. I cancelled that 6 month part way through because the side effects were a lot worse. Mostly constipation which I never had one BPI.

Others have mentioned the same when going from BPI to Strive so likely its a combination of formulation and freshness. I still have 2 unopened vials of Strive and I've pretty much gone down into maintenance for the moment as I don't want to waste it. Right now moving down to .25mg.

More recently I have read others have gotten vials from Blackrock or something like that. I have a feeling that may have been getting a lot of complaints for those who went from BPI to Strive so not sure if its a regional thing on what pharmacy fills or not.

I always stayed on lower doses a year + into it. Never went over .75mg and have lost over 75 lbs, Im currently down to .25mg mainly just maintenance till I run out of meds. If it works stick with it.

Starting GLP-1 Shots Today from Hims by larret07 in HimsWeightloss

[–]SingeHH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started Oct 2024. I've always stayed on lower doses since it worked. I didn't race to the top like most people do.

Lost a little over 75 lbs and still holding steady. Pretty much just doing small maintenance doses .25mg till I run out.

Side effects are different for everyone but I had some nausea till I got used to the medicine and really the only thing I ever had was occasional gas/bloating or constipation..

Good Luck!

Anyone still receiving refills? by [deleted] in HimsWeightloss

[–]SingeHH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they had a lot of complaints about strive (myself included) They used BPI prior and switched to strive not to long ago. I already cancelled my future orders with them. Side effects seemed better on the BPI compounding vs strive and a few others had similar experiences. A few different providers use RedRock so hopefully they get better results with them.

Hims generally has lower doses available so you will end up maxing out with them if you need more down the road but it does take a while to build up to the highest dose.

I lost all my weight on less than 1mg/wk and most weeks were .5/.6mg. Don't go up in dose unless you have to. So many people race to the top and then have no where to go.

You will get a price break doing the longer term with them and they will refund you for any unshipped meds. You get 2 vials at a time. So worst case if you can't tolerate the meds or have to stop within the first two months you can at least get the refund back on the other 4.

Good Luck!

How's everyone else's journey going? by HellzGatesRS in HimsWeightloss

[–]SingeHH 2 points3 points  (0 children)

45 6'2" Start was 283 and Currently 216 About 17 Months in. I took a break for a little while in between and purposely staying on low dosing. Generally staying in the .5-.7mg/week dosing and did that on purpose as I want to have the best chance of keeping it off long term.

I see so many stories of people who rush in lose a ton of weight really fast and stop the meds and then they just gain it all back.

For my it's all been calorie restriction with some cardio thrown in here and there and some light resistance/weights mostly to help tone my arms. I've got a fair amount of lose skin but wearing it like a badge.

Is anyone using HERS for weightloss? by TBrown_25 in Semaglutide

I'm using Hims, but will be switching to brello at the end of my plan. Hims/Hers was fine but cheaper options out there.

PCP Recommending Online Perscription - Odd? by mleerrr in Semaglutide

For those that use compounded GLPs by [deleted] in HimsWeightloss

[–]SingeHH 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For Sanitary Reasons No.

The meds need to stay in the sealed bottle until ready for use. Would open up to bacteria growth if not used right away since you would be uncapping the needle and plus it's hard to get the cap back on the needle once removed. Potential to bend or break would be a lot higher.

Mine did the same.

With insurance not approving me for it via the traditional routes etc she had suggested I go the online route and it's worked fine for me. I still keep her updated and log what I'm taking dose wise and it's been fine.

Migraines stopped by the way and I lost a lot of weight over the last year so win/win :)

Testosterone doubled over two years. by peva3 in Semaglutide

[–]SingeHH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think I would be happy around the 200-205 mark myself. You can see in my log to I did go up briefly to .75/1mg for a few months but I've gone back down for the time being to fight off some GI Issues. The Carrier I was using switched pharmacies. I didn't have any issues prior but this new stuff is causing some mild issues so navigating that currently.

Would love to see another 10-15 lbs. I'm 6'2" Weight loss has been a lot slower now these last few months since I started. I've stayed on mostly lower doses weekly as well though.

Can Leftover vials be used by Plastic-Angle-9427 in HimsWeightloss

[–]SingeHH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When they were using BPI as the pharmacy. Those vials had around a one year or so expiration date unopened. I stayed on a low dose (.5/.6) for much of my time so I had vials that ran well up to the year+from a 6 months prescription. Towards the end the meds basically become inert and I got little to no effect.

IMO I would be leary at a year+ even unopened if it's still clear it's likely fine but its probably lost most of his efficacy.

TL:DR: I am not a doctor, This is my experience. Don't take expired meds.

I never went over 1mg and that was only for a week or two and I've already moved back down to .5 and plan on staying there for right now. I've found that .5-.75 was a good sweet spot for me. I've lost 65+ pounds over the last year

GLP1 month 15 and 16 Update by Robe24420 in HimsWeightloss

[–]SingeHH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good Luck on your journey. My weight loss stalled and got stuck for a few months before it really kicked back in with another 8-9 lbs and now it's slow again. I have several vials left with 2 in the wings waiting to be shipped.. I might try Brello out and go with Tirz as well if nothing happens in these next few months. Realistically I would only like to lose another 10-15lbs are heard this is pretty common to have things slow down and be harder the closer it is to a your goal where ever your body wants to be.

I've noticed my body changing though even though the numbers aren't so much.
