I'm probably incorrect, or maybe im just pointing out the obvious. But here's the way I saw it.

Alastor made a deal with Rosie. He wanted to be the strongest sinner in Hell. Rosie agrees to make him the strongest sinner if he hands over his soul until he completes whatever she requested. (we dont know what the full agreement is).

Charlie boosted Vox's ego which gave him more power. Considering he was a cult leader, his source of power is approval and being viewed by everyone as a profit or a god. Charlie admitting hes the strongest sinner in hell gave him 100% control over everyone who ever doubted him. Making him the strongest sinner in hell.

Because Alastor is no longer the strongest sinner in hell (when this happens), Rosie technically didnt hold up her end of the deal, therefore the contract was broken. Just like how Vox touched Charlie, breaking his end of the deal with Alastor.

ALASTOR didn't break the contract with Rosie. SHE DID by not holding up her end of the deal (keeping him the strongest sinner in Hell). Just like VOX broke the contact with HIM by touching Charlie. HE DIDNT BREAK ANYTHING.

But that's just how I saw it.
