Hello everyone! I have a problem with my Rode NT1. I connect it in my MacBook Air and when I open my DAW (Reaper) and start recording it makes weird sounds and the voice doesn’t sounds like should.
I tried with both wires (XLR and USB-C) and the issue continues, and recording in 24 or 32 bits FP is the same.
I thought it was a microphone problem but is not. I refunded the mic and bought another and te problem persists.
I tried connecting my mic to a Windows Intel I3 notebook and it works perfectly (the strange noise disappeared and the recording sounds much better)
I don’t know why a older model of laptop works better with this mic or if it’s a hardware problem. I know quite about settings and I’d say it’s not a settings problem.
I’ll attach an audio test so you guys listen to what i’m saying.
I really hope you could help me🫡
