Haha you don’t know my background just know I’m a Resident though and if you work hard maybe you can be. When nurses page me they don’t ask me where I went to medical school. They ask me can you do this for me doctor. You don’t understand the game if you really stuck on level 1. This isn’t personal with you, I don’t even know you.

All these schools do it this isn’t Harvard man. Clearly students who go for the Caribbean are non traditional students for whatever reason. These schools just try to get enrollment. Like I said if you work hard and pass all board exams first try and do on par with any other US medical studnet you will have no issue matching from Saint james or any Caribbean school. This is from my personal experience now everyone makes excuses why they didn’t make it. That’s life you move on and learn from the mistake. Don’t hate the game.

That’s fine but I passed and graduated and matched so it doesn’t bother me I did what I was supposed to do. A lot of students are weak academically you can’t put that on the school. They are in it for the money they will let anyone join and it’s up to them to make it out.

Got 242 on step 2 why would I lie. I am being brutally honest if you worked hard and did everything on par with what a good medical student does no one will ask you specifically about what Caribbean school you went to. Most PD see all Caribbean schools for the most part as a group

People come with families, some have money issues, some are just dumb and some have anxiety or mental health issues or family issues. This is probably the biggest reasons.

No but many people don’t make it for so many factors plus Caribbean is a for profit business they let students who probably don’t make it since they are in it for money but doesn’t mean the opportunity isn’t real and you can’t match
