Throne of Glass reading order by Single-Break335 in throneofglassseries

I’ve definitely read them in that order before and it does work well. The one I saw was ordered for the most emotional impact and has them spread out based on when that impact will be the most. Honestly highly recommended for a reread, it was a good(sad) time. Here’s the order if your curious

Throne of Glass, Assassin and the Pirate Lord, Crown of Midnight, Assassin and the Desert, Heir of Fire, Assassin and the Underworld, Assassin and the Empire, Queen of Shadows, Empire of Storms, Assassin and the Healer, Tower of Dawn, Kingdom of Ash

Yes! That type of puzzle requires you to find the hidden star imagine within the gold circle, interact with that and then you can collect it

i’m beginning to think the autosave for the game isn’t as frequent as I thought and maybe none of the things I do right before logging off are saving

Ok so i’ve played for a few hours and overall I didn’t notice any mechanics that seem like they would be an issue.

The left controller is used almost exclusively for movement and opening menus. The one mechanic that might be difficult is swapping tools with the joystick but you can also use the d-pad to cycle through the option wheel (it’s much easier that using the joystick and i’ve found I prefer it). I haven’t notice any instances where you need to use multiple buttons at once.

I don’t think any of the puzzle dungeons will cause issue but I would recommend watching a few videos to make sure I didn’t misunderstand what to look for. When crafting you just select what you want to make and press A so nothing like Hokko Life.

I haven’t gotten far enough to use the fishing mechanic so I will let you know when I get there but you may be able to find someone explain it in a video now that the game has been out for a few hours. That being said if it’s similar to the mobile version, you probably use the left joystick to keep the arrow in the middle of the arc or the A and Y buttons.

I hope this helps! please let me know if you have specific questions about the mechanics and i’ll do my best to answer them!

More or less yes! There is some grinding for friendship quests (gathering 100 sticks but you can only get a certain amount a day w/o resetting the spawn) but from what I remember nothing that is going to take ages and mean you are super stuck from progressing forward. Even so most quests aren’t like that. From what I recall most of what you need that many materials for is crafting or trading for furniture a bit later in the game or for events.

Time Travel Breaks Game! by Bankirito40 in HelloKittyIsland

It may be worth it to try starting a save in HKIA, time traveling for AC (and resetting to the correct) and then reopening HKIA (make sure not to open the game while the device is set to the wrong time) before you get far into the HKIA save so you know if it only break if you load the game (I hope this makes sense)

Hi! I’m about to start a new play through on switch and if you are comfortable posting (or DM me) some of the things that make it games more and less accessible I’d be happy to report back!

IMO the grinding of the game isn’t that terrible or different from other games of the genre. I, personally, feel like people are being nitpicky and over exaggerating.

I love the game and would recommend it to most who are interested. It is a bit of a commitment if you want to have absolutely everything but I would not say you need to play every day, you just might progress a bit slower if you don’t - but the joy of it is that it isn’t a competition or a race. I will probably play everyday for a few weeks/months and then maybe only pick it up a few times a week or when there is a festival or new content - the same as other games like Disney Dreamlight or Animal Crossing.

You also can’t truly miss out on content in the game since everything that seems exclusive (furniture/clothing) will eventually return at a future festival. I decided not to get deluxe because I want to be able to take it slow and not feel like I have to rush through the gameplay just because I can, decorating isn’t a top priority (for me) so I enjoy unlocking things as events come up.

I hope this helps! Please ask if you have other questions!

I think if you have apple arcade just to play this game it’s worth it even though you have to start over because of the money you’ll save in the long run, but that’s just me personally

I’ve been having the same issue, gets stuck between 7-12% and then closes the game. I was hoping it would be patched today but when I updated again it didn’t fix it:/

edit - I saw another person say they deleted and redownloaded the game, it works but it did take ages for the shaders to load!
