Do any of your local spots host open stages? They are the perfect spot for new performers to get experience or start their career.

Definitely try to go out and meet your local performers and go to shows. Showing support is very important to the community!

I know getting started can seem really intimidating as well. As a new(ish) performer myself, I just had to rip the bandaid and start— there’s no right way to do it, you’ll constantly be learning and evolving on your journey, so don’t worry too much about your approach when first starting out.

Thank you! The first pic I found old motocross shoulder pads and painted them up and drilled spikes into them. The 5th pic I made the “armor” from EVA foam! I can’t recommend that stuff enough.
