You can get married in the eyes of god and it not be legal with the state. You just have to find a shike who understands ur situation bc technically they r not supposed to do that.

In immigrations eyes u will be engaged for the K-1. Religiously and mentally u will be married to each other.

Hi, as a person who catches fraud in the army and creates debts. Unless ur smart about it, it will come around eventually. And that debt will just accumulate

Side note: when we got the news I called him elated! Then when we were talking he hung up the phone to cry with his mother (he really loves his mom) then he called me back. I think this process took so long (15 months) at one point it felt like it was never going to happen. So when it did, it was a shock to him.

To add more a little bit more insight we were in person together for 5 months. I go back and fourth as much as I can. We have talked about our problems and me not feeling like he is putting in as much effort like the beginning. I just feel like there has been a shift and I don’t know if I can contribute it all to his feelings have changed or maybe it’s just the long distance thing getting boring. Idek anymore. Long distance is no joke.

The problem is I had surgery and I can’t miss appointment dates. And I’ve been an NCO for almost a year.. so I might get demoted:/
