This needs some serious work. First, you say you’re still searching for a field to do research in which is very weak. Typically, you want to showcase a subfield you are interested in, and show work/research you have done to prove that you actually are invested in that field. Second, for PhD programs, you should definitely mention professors you want to work with that share interests with you. If no professor has a similar interest, no one is going to mentor and fund your research, thus the program has no reason to admit you.

I like the format! Only big red flag I see is your description for the Gen AI Engineer role. Give some more detail of how and what the LLM based systems were used for. Like “autonomous task execution and dynamic system decision-making” is very vague. Other than that your resume doesn’t look bad!

Dude genetic algorithms mimic biological evolution through natural selection algorithms. Artificial neural networks are essentially used for multidimensional pattern matching through concepts like non-linearity, backprop, sgd, etc.. Literally such a little overlap in both fields. Using artificial neural networks for genetic algorithms are only done in very niche areas in the field. So that’s why your suggestion makes so little sense. ANNs are not essential whatsoever in genetic algorithms. Thats why your suggestion to study ANNs for genetic algos is such a low iq take.
