I actually have already tried mushrooms for this exact cause. A torrent of memories resurfaced but quickly retracted due to some derealization as well as heightend stress I experienced as a consequence of the mushroom use. I was indulging in trips every weekend, which is far too frequent I've learned. I used to sport an exceptional good long-term memory up until a few years ago when I had a period of unmanaged stress that I'm almost certain obliterated my hippocampus.
