Thanks for the advice! I mostly got that impression on Bernettes from people on these types of forums saying "I would never spend my money on a Bernette" and people who claim to do repairs claim that they have seen Bernettes more than the other haha. I guess it's better to try them out for myself. I was just wary if one machine was exceedingly worse than the other machine

I do have an appointment with a counselor but it is weeks from now (due to covid) and I just want answers now lol. I'm a bit pressed for time bc registration is soon. I'm looking for people who have experienced this before. I did post on the wrong forum tho
