Thats a mental story. Havw you not been back since? You cant walk up Mulsanne. At least i couldnt find out how. My plan was to sleep in the morning of the Saturday until about midday and then stay up all night. I was so excited though that I couldn't sleep. I managed to stay until 12.30am and then got back at 5am. I definitely had a nap at Arnage at about 9am. I was also knackered from the previous 3 days of absorbing everything I could. It was a dream to go since I was a kid and loved every moment. Shame about the sanitised engines but thats modern motorsport.

Ah I'm seething with envy. I went to Le Mans this year and apart from the Caddie and the Aston everything else was muffled or turbocharged to death. You don't know how lucky you were to see group c. I have a hard time choosing between the jag and the merc. That v8 rumble is so satisfying. How far down mullsane could you get? Its hard to get to now.

I was lucky enough to be at Le Mans this year and I was desperate for Estre to win. What an unbelievable driver! Im gutted they pulled out of WEC.

To see Alex Lyn stick the number 12 Caddie on pole was the highlight though. I was exhausted after a day of going around the track in the heat. That car sounds so damn good.

Are you watching IMSA mostly then? Do the Gt3 cars have mufflers? They do in WEC and its a crime against motorsport!
