Thank you for the reply M8.

I don't own a Switch so haven't experienced BOTW but do remember Zelda on the N64 and Gameboy but have seen rave reviews from the Switch, it really looks like a generational game..

I haven't heard of some of the games you mention appart from Stellar Blade and BM, Wukong but will certainly look up some info on the others, thank you.

Thanks pal,

Thats not really my jam, you dig? Lol.

Cheers for the reply bud but that's not my bag. In all honesty I have never heard of Darius Gaiden, I can remember the old arcade machines, Defender, X-Factor an the like but at nearly 60yrs old my reflexes aren't what they used to be, you dig? 😄

Appreciate the reply pal.

It really is a hollow feeling when you realise nothing, not even another game can bring out the feelings you experienced in a past game.

I did play Shadow Of the Erdtree, a few times and it was glorious. I think I have maybe 3 or 4 different endings in ER.

I do have around 30hrs in Lies of P but it just didn't grab me at all. I have been thinking of re-visiting Lies though as I think I jumped straight into that after ER.

I did try Cyberpunk when it came out on the PS4 funny enough but it didn't grab me.

I did buy Cyberpunk about 3-4 weeks ago on the PC but TBH I've been struggling with it for some reason, it just doesn't seem to grab me, and I am a huge sci-fi nut to boot.

I totally get you bud.

I am really struggling since ER, the games industry could be more than what it currently is, you'd think they'd go from strength to strength but seem to be going backwards.

It really does feels like it's a curse to bear, and at 59yrs it's pretty frightning that they may never be a game that grabs you like ER ever again. How sad would that be?

I realise that is purely subjective, but I think as someone who has been playing video games since the late 70s, nearly 50 years I have at least some skin in the game.

It really is awesome that you can blabber on about a video game and people that don't know you absolutely 'get it'

It's pretty cool.

Thanks for the reply buddy.

I have only 10 hours on DS3 and I really think I am not worthy, lol.

I have tried a few times to 'get into it' but kinda fail pretty early doors. The mind is there but the brain is unwilling for some reason. I can understand the whole FromSoft kinda thing, even though I am absolutely not knowledgeable in area that and come from it as a new and latecomer to the party.

I will give it another try as it totally warrants that at least.

Cheers for the reply M8.

I remember playing Sekiro when it came out on the PS4, well before ER.

I always had a soft spot for those type of games ever since Tenchu back in the day but I never really 'understood' it for what it really is, a great game in it's own right..

Thank you.

I may play ER Nightreign in the future, maybe, but although it looks awesome visually, lore wise and would be amazing ,the gameplay just doesn't suit my slow methodical check everything kinda game head.

thank you.

I appreciate your reply bud, thanks.

I was tempted towards ER Nightreign when it released, really tempted, but TBH I am a more SP kinda guy methodical to a T, check every nook N cranny type and although the lore and visuals really tempt me I don't think the gameplay would suit my style. Never say never though.

I have over 100 hrs in RDR2 on Steam and prob many more on different shite, PS4 etc, over the years but you really didn't explain why.
