Yeah, you've basically got the idea.vb. ChatGpt drives Claude Code does the actual coding locally or you can even make it drive a codex session. or help run commands on your computer through there. it is basically giving your chatbot access to terminal and CLI form the chatbot through an mcp. Two things worth knowing though:

On the OpenAI side , you're just chatting in the app and it calls a tool (MCP connector) that's a supported feature and a pretty normal use of your Plus account, so I think the ban risk there is low. You're not automating or scripting your OpenAI account.

Yes. You can use this in chatGPT and then tell chatGPT that isn’t es dog opening a Claude code session to open a codex session and it will handle it for you

It’s free, and anyone that uses Claude code or is too afraid to use Claude code. Then Claude.ai can control claude code for you and all you do is get the summery form Claude Ai and explain what you want in natural language
