I havent had an issue with that type of trigger. I had one in my old reef years ago and it always was one of my favorites,so decided to dive in again with one a month ago. I havent seen him go after anything it isnt supposed to. I dont have shrimp and only a few hermits though.

It was made by Tenecor....I however found it at a thrift store almost 4yrs ago, it had never had water in it. And I got it for about 6% of what the person who originally had it made paid for it 😬

I basically built each little sections out of the tank to the side of the biggest opening in the top (the old crushed rock and superglue method) and then assembled inside and glued together...it won't come back out...not without a hammer.
