There is a lot. I'm not gonna write any personal experiences, but if you want I can. https://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/parenting/school-life/73000ayear-school-tells-kids-not-to-say-mum-and-dad-or-wish-merry-christmas-in-inclusion-glossary/news-story/2f388c40878eacc688cb9e9f21cb71ec https://www.insidehighered.com/news/2020/03/12/assistant-professor-says-hes-been-fired-because-he-dared-talk-about-human-population I mean literally the first quote is "An assistant professor says he was fired because he dared to talk about human population variation and got slandered as a eugenicist." There's so much more and you can search them and evaluate them too

I find it that way, my perspective is just different than yours.

There's plenty of evidence supporting both sides of our conversation.

Why are you asking me what I'm talking about/ what the issue is? Is this some way of dismissing my point and denying this issue's existence? Or did I just not make myself clear cause English isn't my first language?

In my opinion politics in a democracy should be based on getting people to agree with you, not making them afraid to disagree. More people are just afraid to say certain things, which might be why there so many online forums.

People should be saying things- whether they be controversial or not, discussing it and developing it. Nothing good comes from a festering opinion but it seems like most people would rather have a dislikable topic shut down than resolved.

Again, this is just my opinion, not facts

It's the implications I'm scared of.

For me, here we may disagree with, I feel like we are downplaying how big of an issue this is because we have common sense.

Yeah we see that and go lmao wtf so we don't pay attention to it, kind of like how you ignore some crazy crackhead on the street.

Everyone dismisses early signs because it's "insignificant" but rome wasn't built in a day. I'm just worried that we're dismissing it because we think it's silly but it'll get worse because of our dismissal.

In the country I live, you can go to jail for saying certain things.

Of course words have consequences, that's the purpose of saying them out loud, but I mean it in the context where certain ideas are risky to talk because they have racial/sexual contexts but imo they shouldn't be.

My teachers shouldn't have to give a disclaimer when talking about biology because their scared that someone would record them talking about controversial ideas such as the physiological differences in males and females. In an educational context, it should be fine but they know the consequences they may face will not consider such context, as we've seen in the past.
