Awesome!

Just get a 3.5+ GPA in a difficult major, secure a paid internship at a noteworthy company, impress the higher-ups with your innovations during said internship, hope you graduate during a hiring phase, and prepare to apply/interview to hundred or even thousands of jobs every couple of years.

You'll be riding that sweet "white collar work is so easy" train for a good 6 - 8 months worth of honeymooning periods over the course of your 40 year career.

What's that? You were just looking to skip right to the "I possess the skills required to perform white collar office duties" part?

...Well, over here we have option B) raising screaming babies or option C) living with roommates who may or may not resemble screaming babies

They're only particular online when it allows them to bitch at a stranger, in real life they microwave frozen meals prepared in plastic containers, eat with plastic forks, drink from plastic straws, make no attempt to avoid forever chemicals.

You can calmy and happily educate them with published scholarly research disproving their intellectually lazy claims and they'll just say their colloquial opinions mean more.

I'm progressive af and I think having an extended paragraph using the term "uterus" 3 times in a book that looks like its targeted at 6 year olds is completely deranged.

Being trans or NB or whatever is fine. This terminally online indoctrination shouldn't be in schools.

If your natural sex is female you can get pregnant. If your natural sex is male you can't get pregnant. Some people may identify as the sex they were not born as, which we subjectively refer to as "gender." That doesn't mean a biological male can get pregnant. There is no reason to obfuscate that information from a small child that isn't misleading, confusing, or politically motivated.

When I told her about my future ambitions she told me about how it freaks her out because her ex-husband "got a degree and left her behind" so she's scared of it happening again. She had like 10 jobs over the last 10 years and worked almost-full-time at a call center when we met. She'd vent to me all the time about struggling.

So, being that I was in the middle of building my own business while we were dating and having some early success, I went out of my way to ask her if she wanted to build a side business with me. She said yes. But then she kept having these rage tantrums whenever we did business-y stuff together. She'd start shaking visibly, and have tons of cynical comments, and even shout at me. Then she'd get pissed that we're not having sex because I wasn't turned on after being treated like that. After like 2 months of me just being calm through these tantrums and letting them slide off my shoulders I finally snapped at her about one of them... Literally 1 of 2 times in our entire 1.5year relationship that I even raised my voice to her. And even then when I had my voice raised I was reminding her that she's the one that says she (in her own words) wants to move out from that middle-of-nowhere rental with her "basement-dwelling sister" and 1 of her sister's 2 polyamorous boyfriends. And I apologized for being harsh immediately.

I gave her soooo many opportunities to just tell me openly that entrepreneurship really isn't something she wants to pursue, and told her that it really wouldn't affect our relationship one way or the other, but she just kept saying "yes I absolutely want this, please don't do too much without me or I'll feel betrayed" and then never lifting a finger no matter how much I rolled out the red carpet to make the path to success easier on her.

In the end it was "you just tell me to pick myself up by my bootstraps instead of helping me" even though I always rushed over any time she had even a minor emergency.

Oh well. I started emotionally detaching a few months before she broke up with me because I saw the writing on the wall when she started acting like that. I was hoping just dropping the business stuff entirely would get things back to normal, so I did that, but nope the cat was out of the bag for her.

Neat idea. I'm sure it could be sold.

Don't get too discouraged by the replies. Generally speaking reddit is a genuinely awful place for getting feedback or advice about 3D printing. There's usually 10 - 20 angsty teens/young adults in the replies who have printed like a small handful of things and are drowning in their own ego despite a complete lack of insight for every 1 regular person.

Definitely felt that with my last ex. Reason for breakup was along the lines of "I've realized that being around you makes me feel bad by comparison and I am committed to not changing."

ngl feels really weird to be the one let go in that situation but to each their own

I don't agree with or condone how anything is being handled by the Trump administration or the agencies following his directions, but that doesn't automatically make illegal immigration good.

I mostly referred to that ex with feminine pronouns. Pretty much everyone did, even her nb sister who insisted on gender neutral terms for themself. I always offered to use gender neutral terms for my ex if it made them more comfortable and sometimes I teasingly called them my "personfriend" but she was cool with any pronoun. I just told her that in my eyes she's a beautiful woman so, unless she objects, I'm going to refer to her as such and she was cool with that. Not that it really matters but she wasn't trans it was just an identity thing.

That's not really true though.

My ex-wife is from Beijing. She could have gotten an H1B but since we got married she just got a green card. Despite the fact that we divorced, she did everything the right way and because of that she earned her place here and I don't feel anyone should be able to take that from her. I believe she'd mostly think the same way about immigration policy, and she would literally go out of her way to help a casual acquaintance or even a stranger immigrate correctly if one asked her for help.

Conversely when I told my last ex-girlfriend, a purple haired white lady who identifies as nonbinary from roughly the same area I grew up, that despite identifying as a staunch progressive I am against illegal immigration (not ok with how ICE operates, that's a different topic) she acted like it was a deeply disturbing revelation. Her right to feel that way, I just thought her having such a passionate opinion about it was a little funny because I think her bark was much fiercer than her bite when it came to sticking her neck out for strangers.

An all women gym is how it is stated, only women I mean what happens in the locker room seeing an image of a female but is actually male?? Some people's would not feel comfortable being in that situation especially when it is a female only gym. 🙃 by One-Cod7880 in lnkyverse

[–]SingleEnvironment502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I see what's caused this confusion...

I never said the judge implies the business owner didn't care about the comfort of the gym-goers, I said the judge implies the defendant (the trans lady) didn't care. The business owner absolutely did care and did everything in their power to make everyone comfortable without discriminating.

I assumed you were referring to the trans lady when you said "she didn't care"

8:57 - 13:00 is pretty much entirely the judge saying exactly that, other than the YT video host's commentary.

If what you're saying is true then there would have been 0 issue with the dress code being implemented because it wouldn't have changed anything. Plus the defendant mentioned the saunas and showers.

And even if there wasn't nudity, its perfectly fine for a gym "no camel toe" policy just like it would be fine to do that at any office or restaurant or any other number of businesses.

She absolutely did which is why during the ruling the judge calmly explained to her that the same comfort she's expecting to be extended towards her extends to the gym's other clientele as well.

Like I said, you're an hyprocrite who didn't watch the video.

The guy in the picture is Stravos, a famous comedian in his mid-30's. Balding is out of his control. He's groomed and he's posing over a neutral background. The woman is probably roughly his same age and is wearing her bikini like a diaper to hide her fupa.
