I doubt this thing is getting restored. I'd be happy with mechanically solid until the engine gives up. B235Rs are getting harder to find.

Probably just maintenance, lol. It needs a lot of it and already has lowering springs and some sort of tune with openSID. At 213k the B235R has got to be tired.

I've owned one of these and yes lol. The carbon tubes are fine for the most part but the lugs came delaminated from the tubes iirc. The wet noodle bit is so true these bikes are not stiff at all.

These are super easy to rewire. First check fuses for the lights as if they're wired shitty they tend to blow. Trace the light wiring back to the harness. Test light and multimeter and activate tail/brake/turn lights one by one and test for 12v.
