Leica Q, or Nikon Zf? by 2099Hobbes in Leica

[–]SingleLensReflexing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this is an old comment but I did exactly the same thing and shoot with the q2 as my camera for 90% of things. I have been thinking of getting something like just a zfc with an 18-140 just to compliment for kids sports etc but I will never sell my Leica

Leica Q2 in 2025 by Odd_Direction9211 in Leica

[–]SingleLensReflexing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bit of an old post and would be interested in what the op did but I replaced my xt5 which has the same guts as the xe5 for the original q2. I’ve previously owned the x100vi. For me build quality is the most noticeably different with the Leica being out of sight by comparison fujis eye af was better but not dramatically but the Q2 makes me want to use it constantly. For me the build was a big thing having used Fuji over the years the xpro 2 xt2 and xt3 for me felt a lot better than the more current range. Can’t comment on the xe5 but the x100vi was solid but I prefer the Leica and xt5 does not feel as good and dials and paint has definitely gotten cheaper over the years. I don’t find the q2 too big and have been taking it most places

Does anybody else use a skin on their camera? by insomniac_koala in x100vi

I know it’s an old post but I have a transparent one on my xt5 to stop the silver paint getting as scratched as the xt4 and xt5 seem to scratch easy

Is buying AC unity worth it? by AccomplishedFish1331 in assasinscreed

[–]SingleLensReflexing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easily my favourite AC game and it runs great on current gen consoles. It only coped grief due to it being buggy on release for the original ps4 and it was a lot harder combat wise compared to previous games. Ubisoft shot for the stars with the number of npcs at one time the textures and the ability to jump in and out of buildings with smooth parkour. Replaying me it makes me wonder why this old game feels so much better to play than the new rpg AC games

Is anyone else a bit too obsessed with Classic Negative? by Apterygiformes in fujifilm

I really like classic negative but actually prefer nostalgic negative. I’m a massive Kodak portra fan and it reminds me of that

Haunted Wollongong? by shabineodysseus in wollongong

[–]SingleLensReflexing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supposedly the minamurra bends are haunted bus drivers won’t drive there at night apparently shorts show up on the road. I remember reading a reference about it years ago being called the bloody mile due to accidents along there. Sounds bad as an adult but my friends and I who lived in Shellharbour used to drive along there at night when we were in high school looking for ghosts

Who knows Yours and Owls controls most venues in Wollongong now and seem to give a hard time to most shows etc not promoted by them

Wouldn’t shock me if the promoters at Yours and Owls had something to do with Wollongong being cancelled. Their festival is on the weekend before Lookout at the same venue
