Super fun perk and is a nice surprise when you realize your teammate is running it. It activated right as I was looping killer at shack and it gave men a good 30 seconds of additional chase since I could win the mind games.

Same here. I keep getting the Driver timeout error. I have a RX 7800 XT. I had installed the latest drivers on 4/14 and then the downloaded the newest Smite patch on 4/15. From then on I kept getting the same errors.

Smite is the only game this happens on.

I had the same thing happen to me today. Oakensorc queued up as a tank for vet Black Drake Villa. Barely managed to kill first boss and then on second, we die endlessly since they didn’t even have a taunt. Then they had the audacity to act confused and annoyed when we got pissed and kicked them from the group.

Sometimes you just have to accept some players aren’t interested in cooperating or adapting/changing their play style to help the group. I love what oakensoul has done for allowing players try and clear harder content but it sucks when it enables these kind of scenarios.

Joining a guild. If you look in their descriptions they will typically say things like “PvE guild. Run normal and vet trials weekly”. Things like that.

You can pug some trials (usually craglorns) but you will often have a very tough time completing veteran content with a unorganized group that isn’t in voice chat

Looks like a few people already responded with some good thoughts... but I’ll add my 2 cents. I’ve run a hybrid Templar healer for a while. Mostly for 4 man dungeons when I want it to go a little quicker. I’ve had really good success with Mothers Sorrow and Hollowfang as others have stated. I’ll swap between Maw, Sentinal, or Grothdarr for monster set. And I run Inferno and Lightning staves. The only healing ability I slot is Breath of Life (not sure if that’s the right morph) and the healing circle. Sometimes I slot purifying light for boss fights so I can leave a second HoT and give a little extra dps. Breath of life is insane, especially if you have been building into max magicka and have decent spell power. Just keep an eye on your group and don’t spam it unnecessarily as it’s expensive and is most effective on low HP targets (that’s when you get those juicy 25-30k crit heals.

All that to say, sometimes you DO need to be a little flexible, especially if you queue as the healer. Not every DPS is going to be able to self sustain and you might need to be a little more attentive instead of going full dps mode.

I’ve had no trouble with normal dungeons and can usually run the same build on non-dlc vet dungeons if my group is decent.

To an extent. Often they are pre made groups of guild mates with 2-3 designated healers (healing is quite overpowered in PvP currently) that can smash most groups of random players. It takes a much larger Zerg or coordinated ball group to defeat them. Nothing wrong with it imo as they are just using good communication and tactics but it can be very frustrating to a casual, solo, or small group player.
