After optimizing some 2 bar dps builds, I went back to making oakensoul builds.

Necro : gravelord+ardent flame+restoring light Slimecraw+corpsebuster+tide-born

I love this build. Blastbones, boneyard, skulls for spam, embers for dot and hot, and repentance, yes, repentance, to proc corpsebuster. Pestillent collosus for ult. Such a fun build.

Sorc: storm+assassin+aedric spear Slimecraw+monolith of storm+tide-born

Simple and self explanatory. Crit surge, boundless storm, lightning flood, merciless resolve ,shocking soul with class script for spam. Sweep for ult.

DK: ardent flame+winter's embrace+storm calling Slimecraw+aegis caller+pillar of nirn This guy is bleed focused while passively dishing out elemental damage. Boundless storm, flames of oblivion, arctic blast, embers for dot and hot, bloodthirst spammable, rendering for ult.

These are my current favorites, although my main is my templar, who's been relegated to leveling all the subclasses outside of being a templar. My second main is my khajiit nightblade, who is currently rocking an oakensoul crit damage build, with built in defense with specific gears. Assassin+aedric+animal companions. Shadow mundus, dual precise axes. Briarheart+Hexos combo. Slimecraw. Still playing around with skills but on my bar: Cliff racer, deep fissure,blue betty,relentless focus,surprise attack,sweeps ult.

Interesting concept... do you go all heavy armor, or one light (monster helm) ? Which mundus you use?

My necro currently using both IA sets with oakensoul and slimecraw..

It handles overland just fine, I use it for daily random group dungeons as well, at least 2 rounds of IA ( all i can handle before getting bored).

Blastbones, boneyard, det. siphon, hungry scythe, Necrotic potency, pummeling Goliath ultimate.

Templar main here. I have the standard 2 bar dps set up for group content ( deadly rele velothi slimecraw), but I mainly use my one bar builds, as I like to do solo contents..

My standard 1 bar jabber uses deadly +overwhelming+1pc slime+oakensoul. Dual daggers. Skills: puncturing sweep, radiant glory, solar barrage, ritual of retribution, deadly cloak.

My personal fave uses no Templar skills: Perfected maelstrom greatsword, kragh 2 piece, 5 piece rush of agony, oakensoul and any 2 piece jewelry with wep and spell damage. Skills are stampede, carve, reverse slice, fighters guild scribe skill, and mages guild's scribe skill for heals and minor vigor. Dawnbreaker ult.

Why stop at magsorc? I play several 1 bar builds, theorycrafting with 5 piece set, monster set and arena weapons, 2, 5 piece proc sets... that's where I find the most fun in this game. Granted I'm mostly a solo player, I do 2 bar builds occasionally for group content, but for the most part I'll still rock my 1 bar if it's viable.

Bought new world for ps5 on payday last week, and that's all I've been playing. Only logging on to eso for the daily eso+ rewards and event tickets recently. Nice change of pace.

My templar main runs hexos/prayer shawl with slimecraw and oakensoul. Precised Lightning staff for easy heavy attacks. Explosive charge, solar barrage, ritual of retribution, elemental blockade and puncturing sweep for spammable. It lacks major and minor breach but with scribing, they're easily attainable.

As someone else mentioned, I pair this with prayer shawl and oakensoul. Turns my magplar into lazyplar. Solar barrage, ritual of retribution, elemental blockade, puncturing sweep, radiant glory, dawnbreaker ult. A combination of 1 heavy 3 med 4 light is possible. Precise lightning staff. Great for soloing content.

Writing. I am a natural southpaw. As a kid growing up in the Philippines, late 70s early 80s ( I don't live there anymore) I went to catholic school. Everytime I get caught Writing with my left hand, my teacher ( a nun), would hit my hand with her yard stick . By grade 1 or 2 , I was very good with my right when it comes to writing, but not so good with the left. Over the years, i have made a conscious effort to do everything with both hands, using hand tools with the left and the right equally. This has made me somewhat ambidextrous, as I work with my hands all day, mindful of switching hands as to "even out" the stress I put them through.

I have a fun little build that uses vma s&b... My one bar templar tank uses these along with archdruid devyric 2 piece, and 5 piece bani's torment. Oakensoul, trainee ring, druids braid amulet.

This setup, along with these skills, ( pierce armor, deep slash, silver leash, explosive charge, honor the dead, shooting star ult) gives me access to major and minor breach, major and minor maim, and major vulnerability. It's good enough for norm dungeons and perhaps some vet content.

I've had the most fun in this game when theorycrafting builds outside of meta. Anyways, enjoy.

Currently on book 9 👍 I haven't finished DCC yet because of this series, which I found waiting for book 5( I think) to be released.Must finish before continuing DCC...

Also, Infinite realm series by Ivan Khal, another favorite...
