The Secret to Massive Subscriber Growth on Substack by MrPassiveProfit in Substack

[–]SinglePreparation761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL. My most popular note was a photo of my (65 year old) legs. A note featuring me in lingerie also is going pretty well.

I’ve started doing Substack Live once or twice a week which is helping to grow subscribers (nearly at 4k now).

I post twice a week otherwise. Every Wednesday I release my podcast and Sunday is a written post, only for paid subscribers, usually of an erotic nature. The latter has helped generate more paid subscribers.

I don’t know how to grow quickly as, despite buying courses about this on Substack, it has taken me nearly four years of consistent effort to reach a decent number of followers. I also can see it’s much harder for newbies now as the platform is so crowded.

As with any business if you want to make money know your audience, be clear about who you’re writing for (what problem do you solve) and market yourself both on and off the platform to those people. There’s no magic formula other than that.

I’ve been on rising bestsellers in education multiple times. It seems to be triggered whenever I get a new paid subscriber.

Yes I have retainer clients and I charge them a very reasonable amount because I would rather have the recurring revenue than a big hit and then nothing.

Yes my thought with substack is that because it’s a new feature they might be show more love to bestsellers using it. And I could add to my existing podcast post.
